There are many good diablo 2 mods with many talented and amazing people making them so why would we want to rob the community of even more Diablo 2.Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread So while you will see many diablo 2 modders working together to a degree and supporting each other or trouble shooting each others issues I don't think you'll ever see the entire community drop their own projects to fall under one banner and I think that's a good thing. The reality is that even though yes these are all mods of diablo 2 the general mentalities that come with wanting to design your own game still apply which makes them all very different and because these mods are built by people who want to create things it would be odd to expect them to give up their own goals simply for the sake of merging when in the end it isn't about who has the most players or anything like that, for myself personally and I think most modders it really just comes down to making something you're passionate about that makes you excited. My team and I often frequent the Phrozen Keep website and Discord (the go to hub for diablo 2 modding) where you can find a plethora of people pooling ideas and coming up with solutions for things. I personally talk to many modders within the community and have reached out to many others previously. The Diablo 2 modding community already supports each other in many ways however like anything else in life people often like to do their own things and especially with art or design everyone has their own vision of what they want to create.
